I recently stayed at a charming house in Canterbury and it was absolutely delightful. The house had a lot of character and was filled with interesting paintings that added to its charm. The garden in the back was a lovely addition, and the house was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts had thought of every detail, providing us with tea, coffee, oils, and even shampoo. The location was fantastic, with the train and bus stations nearby, as well as plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants. We were able to explore the beautiful Kent countryside easily from this central location. The hosts were incredibly helpful and communication with them was excellent. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this lovely house.
Though the road outside was very noisy at night, I was still able to have a good night's sleep with the help of earplugs. Additionally, there was only one bathroom with a shower, which might be a bit limiting for larger families.

The host was incredibly thoughtful and provided all the necessary amenities for our stay, including toiletries and even a large umbrella. The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of space for our family. We especially loved the cozy lounge area on the first floor with a huge TV. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city. the host arranged parking for us and their communication was impeccable.
The proximity of the front door to the main road also resulted in unbearable noise from the traffic, which severely impacted our sleep over the three nights. The cottage itself felt quite cramped and cluttered, with an excessive amount of furniture.

The beds were super comfy, and there was plenty of space for our family of three. The lounge area on the first floor with its large TV was a nice surprise. The central location was perfect, and the host even organized parking for us with great attention to detail. The communication was excellent, making us feel very organized.

The property was conveniently located near the city centre, allowing easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. We appreciated the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, such as an abundance of amenities and extras in the cupboards. The house was clean and tidy, and the fans provided were a savior during the hot weather.
The noise from the road outside was incredibly loud at night and kept us awake. Although it is an older building, the windows seemed to amplify the noise.

The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming, with beautiful antique furniture and elegant curtains. It felt like stepping back in time to a bygone era. The common areas, such as the lounge and dining room, were also beautifully decorated and provided a cozy and comfortable place to relax. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel had ramps and handrails in the corridors, making it easily accessible for people with mobility challenges.
I would have loved if there were more activities or programs specifically catered to senior people. Perhaps some gentle exercise classes or organized outings to nearby attractions.

The place was so cool and cozy, with tons of funky artwork that made it super fun. The house had a huge garden where we hung out and the facilities were on point. Plus, it was just a short walk from the city centre, so we were able to explore and have a blast!
The only thing we would've asked for is a bigger party space. We had such a great time hanging out in the house, but having a bigger area for all our friends to dance and party would've made it even more epic!

We had a wonderful stay at the charming Grade 2 listed house villa. the location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the city center. the highlight for us was the lovely sunny courtyard garden, where we could relax and enjoy the seating provided. the kitchen was well equipped, complete with a great coffee machine and complimentary coffee, tea, and sugar. the bathroom had a good, hot shower and we appreciated the thoughtful provision of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of hangers for our belongings. We also loved having two large TVs with a wide selection of satellite channels, as well as the Echo downstairs to play music.

Fabulous house full of charm and character. Packed with everything for your convenience, tea, coffee, oils, shampoo etc. Super helpful host and great communication. Cosy and warm with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Central location, short walk from train/bus stations and main shopping area. Ideal for sightseeing in Kent countryside, with Dover cliffs only a 25-minute drive away. Wonderful city to explore. We had a lovely time and will definitely come back!
Windows at road side were quite noisy, so bring ear plugs. Only one bathroom with shower, might be less than some families need.
